En Las Dalias arriamos nuestra bandera a medio asta por una pérdida irreparable

“Blues” Dave Jeffs ha sido uno de los iconos de la casa durante incontables años, tantos como botellas vacías de cerveza que adornaban el escenario cuando acababa la función.

Noches de canción y filosofía de barra, con pinceladas azules y magistrales lecciones de vida. Dave acortó la distancia entre un músico y su leyenda, en la cercanía del artista con su público.  Todos tenemos historias que contar sobre su paso por nuestra vida. De nuestro paso por la suya, las relataba través de sus canciones.

Tres Hombres Tres Guitarras, los Tributos, las noches de Blues de Dave’n’Dennis…memorias de una época que para siempre estarán escritas en los muros de una Sala, ahora un poco más silenciosa y vacía.

Se apagó la armónica en los montes de Sant Agustí y en el valle de San Carlos. Pero para siempre seguirá sonando su eco en nuestro corazón.

 Su funeral será en la parroquia de San José mañana Domingo, 25 de Agosto, a las 19:00

 At Las Dalias, we fly our flag at half mast due to an insurmountable loss. “Blues” Dave Jeffs has been one of the icons of the venue during uncountable years, as many as empty beer bottles that littered the stage when the show was over.

Nights of song and barroom philosophy, with brushstrokes of blue and majestic lessons in the art of living... Dave reduced the distance between the musician and the legend, in the proximity between the artist and his audience. We all have stories to tell of his strides through our life. Ours through his, were reflected in his songs.

Tres Hombres Tres Guitarras, the Tributes, Blues Nights by Dave’n’Dennis…memories of an era that will forever be written on the walls of a concert hall, now somewhat emptier and more silent.

The harmonica faded in the hills of Sant Agustí and the valley of San Carlos. But its echo will ring out forever in our hearts.

Funeral service will be tomorrow, Sunday 25th of August, at 19:00, at the church in San José.
